Initially developed under the MD-95 name as a modern successor to the DC-9-30, the aircraft was ultimately produced over 150 times as the Boeing 717 starting in 1998. One of the largest operators with 18 717s is Qantas’ regional subsidiary.

Following the recent easing of economic sanctions, Iran’s first privately-owned airline has up to now purchased seven A340-600s to substantially modernize its fleet.

Following four decades of operating the type, Cubana retired the last IL-62s only in 2011.

1:500 529624 Air China Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

China's flag carrier took delivery of its first Dreamliner in May 2016 as part of its fleet renewal program. A total of 15 787-9s have been ordered.

"Nok Anna" is the first Q400 of the Thai airline by Herpa in 1/500. More aircraft of the colorful fleet are to follow.

1:500 529815 Aeromexico Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

The first 787-8 Dreamliners were delivered to the Mexican airline in 2013. These are mainly operated on international routes, connecting Mexico City with New York, Paris, Tokyo, London and Madrid.

Built in 1984, P-814 was the last ever built TU-134. She is one of two operated by North Korea’s state-owned carrier.



1:500 531658 KLM Asia Boeing 777-300ER "Fulufjället National Park"

KLM Asia was founded, to enable flights to Taiwan, without compromising the fl ight rights of the parent company to China. The livery omits the national symbols such as the Dutch fl ag or crown. PH-BVB is one of the fi rst aircraft to be repainted with the “smiling dolphin” color scheme.

The arrival of the first 787 marked the last chapter of Biman’s modernization. With a fleet of 737-800s, 777-300ERs, and now 787s, it went through a full revamp: up to 2014, the venerable DC-10 was the flagship of the long-haul fleet.

1:200 557078 United Airlines Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner

With the delivery of its first 787-9 in September 2014, United was the first North American operator of the stretched variant of Boeing’s Dreamliner.
The 26 ordered aircraft are to be used mainly on long-distance routes. The first of such took place last October from Los Angeles to Melbourne, the longest flight to date operated by a 787 Dreamliner.

Between 1984 and 2002, Crossair operated no less than a total of 34 aircraft of the Swedish-built turboprop. Following the release of already two other Crossair Saab models, a third aircraft of this small series now follows, sporting the livery introduced in 1993.

22 of the larger and longer-raged 787s of the -9 series are on order. The first of which are scheduled to be delivered to the world’s largest airline (based on fleet size) in the summer of 2016.

The Flying Jayhawks of the 127th Squadron were equipped with the supersonic number B-1 up to 2002. Next to the nose art referring to the Wichita, Kansas based veterans’ organization of Native Americans, this aircraft is unique in having shark mouths applied on the engine intakes.
